What is Coaching? … And how can it help me?

Coaching is a motivational approach to helping you reflect and focus in order to reach your own potential. If you are feeling unhappy, stuck in your present situation, or want to reach a goal or understand yourself better (whether in the workplace, in a relationship or personally) coaching is for you. Coaching focuses on the present, the current situation and helps inspire you to plan ways to reach your own targets, goals and desires, it can help you find happiness and fulfilment and it can transform your understanding of self and the way you perceive the world around you.

Our Coaching approaches are inclusive of everyone. We build a relationship of mutual trust and work with our clients in a bespoke way ensuring they feel comfortable, safe and seen. We work with neurodivergent adults, youth and children supporting a diverse clientele with issues related to neurodiversity including ADHD and autism.

The coach is not the expert, but facilitates learning in the coachee, allowing them to develop at their own pace and control their own learning journey. It does not focus on the past and is not counselling (with a focus on the past) or mentoring (with a focus on modelling and suggesting the way).

A coach achieves this by:

  • Helping to raise your awareness through asking powerful questions in order for you to get a clear understanding of what you truly desire

  • Using powerful questions to help you reflect in order to discover who you really are at your core

  • Helping inspire you to create personal, step-by-step action plans which are practical and effective in helping you to reach your goals

  • Providing continuous, motivational support through any changes or obstacles that you may encounter along the way

  • Providing you with tools, techniques and strategies to help you to create lasting changes, reach success, fulfil your potential and have a better level of mental health and wellbeing.
